Superfood Chocolate Rice Crispies

This is a super simple recipe that you can get little kids involved in too! Whilst you can easily just use rice crisps and melted chocolate, I think adding some extra loving super food powders are the way to go!



IINGREDIENTS:

  • 1 block melted vegan chocolate (I use Loving Earth)

  • 1 tbs coconut oil

  • 1 tbs maca powder

  • 2 tbs collagen powder

  • 1 tbs spirulina powder

  • 1 tsp reishi mushroom powder

  • Pinch Celtic sea salt

  • 2 cups rice puffs

Other potential superfood add ins

  • Goji powder

  • Greens powder

  • Acai powder

*This can also be a great way to hide supplements for kids. If you have capsules that you can open and empty, or a powder supplement, you could pop this into this treat, but make sure you dose it up correctly or cut it into the correct amount of serves so you meet the required dosage.


METHOD:

  1. In a bowl, mix all of your dried super food powders, then add the rice puffs, mixing again.

  2. Then add your melted chocolate and coconut oil, and mix until all the rice puffs are covered in chocolate.

  3. Pour the mixture into the baking tray, lined with baking paper.

  4. Pop it into the fridge to allow to cool (or the freezer if your impatient)

  5. Once cooled, use a warm sharp knife to cut the treats and enjoy!
